Our Mission –
Opticians specialize in the fitting and fabrication of ophthalmic lenses, spectacles, contact lenses, low vision aids and ocular prosthetics. They may also be referred to as an “optical dispenser”, “dispensing optician”, “ophthalmic dispenser”. The prescription for the corrective lenses must be supplied by an ophthalmologist, optometrist or in some countries an orthoptist. This is a regulated profession in most jurisdictions.

Went in for glasses & had my eyes checked.The Dr. Was wonderful! She found a problem and went out of her way to get me... an appointment with Visionaire on Monday morning as we were only in Castlerock for the weekend. Scheduled a CT scan as well. We got glasses, appts and more and stayed on schedule! Cannot say enough good things about Castlerock Eyewear & how accommodating everyone is.read more

I do not like to write poor reviews but have done all I can to work this out with the owners to no avail. I went to my... appointment and then never got the prescription. After visiting the store and calling a time or two the owner gave me a verbal prescription but to date (three months later) I have never received a written prescription. In the interim I finally went to Costco and the optometrist gave me a different prescription than the owner at Castle Rock Eyewear had told me. While the owner has told me and also emailed me that she would give me a refund that has still never happened. Hopefully this is not how everyone gets treated and maybe just purchasing some frames works differently but I had very poor service and possibly outright untruths in my dealings.read more
